I created this Arts Ward Journey planner to help me stay on track each week. This was my practice each week, as I want to be a singer and get better at that side of my arts journey. SKYE.

In these pictures I hope you can see all of the weekly activites I took part in at We are Noise. Most weeks I was rehearsing my singing. Some weeks I worked on my breathing techniques to help with stage fright, but also to help with my pitching. Lots of other weeks I worked on my recording skills in the studio. It was an amazing experience for me, and I will be going to college to do music.

Blog 2. This is a picture of my first ever album cover. I wanted to have a style similar to my favourite album Fifteen by Adele. I am so pleased with the final result. We spent a day on a photoshoot, and I selected my favourite pictures to edit in Canva.

This is the copy of the song I recorded at We are Noise, it is a cover of my favourite Adele song. I was very nervous to record in a real studio as I have never done it before. It took me a lot of goes, but the tutors showed me that you can do it in many takes and join them together at the end using special software. After hearing it back with echo it sounded really good and I have more confidence to record more and do even better at college in September. I hope you like it - Skye.

Video 2 - Michael Brindley gig
Blog 4 - For this section of my Arts Award we invited a local singer to We are Noise called Michael Brindley. We designed some tickets as a group activity, and also a flyer, which we used to enter the gig on the day, it was really cool. We all helped set up some of the equipment too which was very interesting.
Michael was really cool and confident and it gave me a lot of confidence to hopefully be able to do this one day too.
Here I am enjoying Michael’s gig at We are Noise on 26th March

This is the review I scored Michael during his gig at We are Noise. I wanted to do this live as he sang so I did not forget how the experience made me feel. It was such a cool gig, and Michael made us feel really important to be there, he was funny, and relaxed. He was also really professional.
This is my review sheet, that I filled in whilst Michael was performing his gig. He was brilliant and I gave him top marks for every section.

Here are some pictures of me in my podcast talking about Michaels gig, filling in my review sheets and rewatching his gig after he had left.

I hosted a podcast reviewing the experience at a live performance. It was really fun and interesting to take part in this podcast, but not easy as I am very shy in general on Camera or talking on a microphone as I prefer writing on my own. Sophie my tutor really helped me over come my nerves and asked me questions about Michael that helped me describe how I felt about his gig in a more detailed way.
Part C : Music Inspiration - Adele
Image 8 - Adele
This is my favourite picture of Adele and inspires me so much as I think she looks so amazing on Camera. I took part in lots of photoshoots to see what it would be like, and its not easy having so many cameras and lights on you at times.

For this part of my Arts Award journey, I decided to research Adele as my musical inspiration. After having a discussion with all my friends at We are Noise I thought it would be cool to put everything I found into a magazine-style article instead of doing something like a TikTok video. I just felt like it was a more unique and creative way for other people my age to learn about an artist. Plus, Adele’s story is so powerful and emotional, I felt like it deserved something a bit more detailed. Im not confident to do it on camera or on a microhphone and writing in this way is better for my confidence.
After looking into her life and music, I did a page where I talked about why I picked Adele and how she motivates me to write and express myself through my own music. This was my favourite section of all the Arts Award work as it was about my idol Adele. It was fun to research her and discover so many things about her that I never knew.
I used the internet to find all of my research such as Wikipedia and some Adele forums that I found on google. I also watched interviews and documentaries about her on YouTube which was really helpful. I put all of my notes and research down on paper first and then created my little magazine in Canva which was really good fun. SKYE.

Image 14 - Why I chose Adele as my inspiration
Blog 8 - I have written a final magazine page to discuss why I chose Adele as my inspiration and what she means to me. I wanted this to be professional as I would also like to try journalism at college as one of my options. This is something that is really interesting to me, and I am more confident at writing than being on camera. SKYE.

Blog 9 - In these photos you can see showing my teacher how to set up a podcast ready for recording a show. I designed the worksheets for my teacher to fill in, and helped her fill them in and I also created my lesson plans which really helped me during the skill share so that I did not lose my timing. It really helped me to stay on track.
It was also really good fun and it gave me a lot of confidence to create my own podcasts in the future. I would like to create podcasts about my journey as a young singer trying to make it in the music industry.

Blog 10 - I created a reflection sheet in Canva, and took part in a small review video to get the feedback from my tutor. It was a really great experience for me as it helped me to continue to develop my Canva editing schools, and also helped me with my confidence on camera, which has got better since I first started at We are Noise. SKYE.

This is me filming my final review video.
In this final video I reflect on my skill-share and hear the thoughts of my tutor who I taught how to podcast.
